Jason Downs joined Hogan Lovells as a partner, the firm announced Monday.
Downs’ practice areas include antitrust, consumer protection, workers’ rights, and civil rights and he represents clients in state AG investigations, serving as external general counsel for Fortune 500 companies, and representing individuals who are members of management in white collar investigations, the firm said.
He was formerly the chief deputy attorney general for the District of Columbia where he provided strategic leadership and direction on every enforcement action brought by the D.C. AG’s office — including multistate enforcement actions, the firm said.
