Hogan Lovells Sports Group Is Victim of Success as Rivals Pounce

Top partners in Hogan Lovells’ sports group are jumping to some of the largest, most profitable US law firms, which have been desperate to join a growing, high-profile corner of the deals market.

Michael Kuh, who joined Simpson Thacher & Bartlett on Tuesday, is the latest to leave, departing just two months after Matt Eisler and rising partner Russell Hedman went to Latham & Watkins. Another partner, Steve Argeris, defected to Weil Gotshal & Manges last year.
