Hinshaw Taps Former IRS Counsel Vaidya as Government Partner

Anshuman Vaidya joined Hinshaw & Culbertson as a partner in its government practice group in Chicago, the firm announced Wednesday.

Vaidya will represent clients in government investigations, regulatory compliance and enforcement matters, litigation and appeals related to white-collar criminal matters, consumer protection issues, and tax evasion claims, the firm said.

He joins from the Treasury Department, where he was area counsel for criminal tax and deputy managing counsel of the Office of IRS Chief Counsel
