Colin Winkler joined Hinshaw & Culbertson as a partner in its consumer financial services group in Minneapolis, the firm announced Thursday.
Winkler focuses his practice on defending companies in the financial services and collections industry in litigation matters and advising clients on state and federal regulatory compliance. He provided amicus counsel in litigation affecting the collections industry, including a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of a Massachusetts regulation on emergency debt collections during the COVID-19 pandemic, the firm said.
He joins from ACA International.
