Hewlett-Packard Successor Legal Chiefs Paid $17 Million in 2022

The top lawyers at HP Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. collectively earned more than $17 million in total compensation last year, according to securities filings.

Julie Jacobs, HP’s new chief legal officer and general counsel, had a pay package valued at nearly $9.1 million after being hired in October to succeed Harvey Anderson. Jacobs received a $9 million stock award after coming aboard, as well as roughly $90,600 in cash, per a proxy statement filed Feb. 24.
