Jeff Morton has joined Haynes and Boone LLP as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice group in Orange County, Calif., according to an announcement Monday.
Morton focuses on the life sciences industry, where he primarily spends time advising innovative companies on patent strategy and prosecution, the firm said. He’s also been involved in several high-stakes life-sciences acquisitions.
He joins from Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP.
