Brian Gustafson joined Haynes Boone as a patent partner in San Francisco, the firm announced Monday.
Gustafson advises clients on patents and prosecution in technology areas including computer science, cloud computing, electronics, semiconductor fabrication, optics, machine learning, and visual effects, the firm said.
He advises large corporations and startups in computer software, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor technologies, with a focus on patent strategies in emerging technologies.
He joins from Fish & Richardson.
