Greenberg Traurig Hires Sophie Allen to Tax Practice in London

Sophie Allen has joined Greenberg Traurig as a shareholder with the firm’s tax practice in London, the firm said Tuesday.

Allen, co-chair of the practice, focuses on the United Kingdom and international tax aspects of private equity and merger & acquisition transactions, according to the firm.

She counsels private equity houses and corporations on tax aspects of the transaction cycle, including investments and divestments, and works with principals, management, and their advisers, the firm said.

She joins from Morrison & Foerster.
