Greenberg Traurig Adds Shane Foster as Shareholder in Phoenix

Shane Foster has joined Greenberg Traurig as shareholder in the financial regulatory and compliance practice in Phoenix, Ariz., the firm said Thursday.

Foster will focus on regulatory matters involving banking, money transmission, lending, and fintech, according to Greenberg Traurig. He covers the use of new technologies in the financial services sector, including blockchain, digital payments, and artificial intelligence, the firm said.

He served as the chief deputy director at the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions as well as assistant attorney general and senior litigation counsel in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
