GoTo Foods’ Powell Joining Planet Fitness as General Counsel

Planet Fitness Inc. has appointed Sarah Powell as general counsel, effective Nov. 17.

Powell, currently executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at GoTo Foods LLC, has more than 25 years of experience in senior in-house counsel roles. She brings expertise in corporate governance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management, and litigation management.

She earned her JD at Washington & Lee University School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Early in her career, she was an associate at Glenn, Feldmann, Darby & Goodlatte.
