Goodwin Health Regulatory Expert Joins Alston & Bird in Chicago

Asher Funk joined Alston & Bird as a partner on its health care regulatory team in Chicago, the firm announced Tuesday.

Funk advises health care and life sciences companies on transactional, regulatory, and fraud-and-abuse matters, with a practice focused on home health, hospice, and behavioral health providers. He works with private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on mergers, as well as with health care providers and suppliers on operations, mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures across the continuum of care, the firm said.

He joins from Goodwin Procter, according to his LinkedIn profile.
