A former Weil Gotshal & Manges associate is rejoining the firm as a partner after a seven-year hiatus at major firm client Goldman Sachs, the new partner said Monday.
New York-based Tom Hashagen started working at the firm again April 1, following a tenure at Goldman that saw him oversee loan negotiations for the Americas region of the bank’s global banking and markets division, Hashagen said. Goldman declined to comment on Hashagen’s departure.
Hashagen’s lender-side experience strengthens the firm’s offerings to clients in a wide variety of financing deals, Weil’s corporate department chairman Michael Aiello said in a prepared statement. ...
