GMO Corn Lawsuit’s $7 Million Attorneys’ Fee Agreement Upheld

A settlement agreement divying up some of the attorneys’ fees from a $1.51 billion lawsuit over genetically modified corn was upheld by a federal appeals court Monday.

The US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit said the firms challenging the settlement agreement had no standing to do so since the agreement wouldn’t impact their awards.
