Gibson Dunn Pilots Veritas Capital Buy of CAES Space Systems

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher is advising Veritas Capital on its agreement to buy the space systems unit of CAES, a supplier of advanced electronic systems for aerospace and defense.

Colorado Springs-headquartered CAES Space Systems provides radiation hardened components, mission processing, cabling, wave guides, antennas, and power management solutions, according to a statement.

No financial terms were disclosed for the transaction, which is expected to close in 2023’s first quarter.

Post-close, Mike Elias, senior vice president and division general manage of CAES Space Systems, will continue to lead the unit, which is well-positioned to thrive as a standalone business, the statement ...
