Gibson Dunn Names George Sampas Co-Chair of M&A Practice Group

George Sampas has joined Gibson Dunn as co-chair of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions practice group and head of cross-border M&A in the New York office, the firm said Tuesday.

Sampas focuses on cross-border transactions, unsolicited US and non-US acquisitions, and private equity transactions, according to the announcement.

His work spans a range of industries, including energy, aviation, food and beverage, and technology, the firm said.
