Michael Schneidereit joined Gibson Dunn as a partner in its business restructuring and reorganization practice in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Schneidereit focuses his practice at the intersection of distressed finance, bankruptcy litigation, and restructuring execution, advising on liability management exercises, corporate reorganizations, and Chapter 11 proceedings. He represents lenders in negotiating and litigating liability management transactions and advises both creditors and debtors across industries including financial services, retail, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, logistics, real estate, sports, health care, and oil and gas, the firm said.
He joins from Jones Day, according to his LinkedIn profile.
