Gibson Dunn has hired former Freshfields partner Sebastian Fain to serve as co-head of its cross-border M&A practice, furthering a hiring spree of top-flight dealmakers at the 2,000-lawyer firm.
Fain has advised clients including AstraZeneca, Abbott Laboratories and Universal Music Group on multiple major deals, according to his law firm bio. He made partner at Freshfields in 2019 after joining from Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz the previous year.
