Gibson Dunn Lands New Fund Finance Leader From Fried Frank

Duncan McKay joined Gibson Dunn as a partner and head of fund finance in New York, the firm announced Monday.

McKay, who was a partner at Fried Frank, represents financial sponsors in complex and bespoke financing transactions involving their investment funds, including private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and other fund structures. He structures and executes complex rated note feeder and collateralized fund obligation transactions for alternative asset managers, investment fund sponsors and direct lenders, the firm said.
