Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher advised private equity firm MidOcean Partners on its acquisition of Pragmatic Institute, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based provider of product management training.
DLA Piper advised Pragmatic on the transaction, for which the sellers were private equity firms Renovus Capital Partners and Petra Capital Partners, according to a statement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
According to MidOcean, Pragmatic is well-positioned to meet fast-growing demand in the global economy for product management professionals. Since its founding in 1993, Pragmatic has trained over 200,000 professionals in corporations across 40 countries.
