James M. Hays has joined Gibson Dunn & Crutcher as a partner in the investment funds practice group in Houston, Texas, the firm said Monday.
Hays represents sponsors in the organization and administration of private investment funds, according to Gibson Dunn.
He previously served as a vice president of the real estate group at Blackstone Inc. and helped establish its Luxembourg-based alternative investment fund manager called Blackstone Europe Fund Management, said the firm.
