Genesys Promotes General Counsel Chiu to Chief Legal Officer

Allen Chiu was appointed as chief legal officer and executive vice president at Genesys, the company announced Monday.

Chiu currently serves as chief compliance officer and general counsel, and will succeed Jim René, who is retiring after 25 years with the company. In his current role, Chiu oversees the company’s global ethics and compliance program, trade and export controls, and litigation strategy.
