Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has a new chief legal officer in David McAvoy, who succeeds David Stark as the top lawyer for the world’s largest generic drug manufacturer.
Stark, who spent more than two decades at Teva, declined to discuss the circumstances surrounding his departure from the company late last year. Teva didn’t respond to requests for comment. The company disclosed in a proxy statement filed April 16 that McAvoy—most recently general counsel and chief compliance officer for Fresh Tracks Therapeutics Inc.—was appointed in March.
