GE Vernova Discloses Law Chief’s Exit Amid Business Changes (1)

GE Vernova Inc., the former energy business of General Electric Co., will part ways with its general counsel and corporate secretary Rachel Gonzalez as of May 16, according to a securities filing Thursday.

GE Vernova disclosed that Gonzalez has entered into a separation and release agreement as of Jan. 31 that will see her departure be treated as a “termination without cause.” GE Vernova said in a separate statement that Gonzalez will leave after the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company’s first shareholder meeting on May 14. It has initiated an external search for her successor.
