Challenges to drag show bans at two Texas A&M University System campuses will be decided by the entire US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
A majority of active judges on the court agreed to hear the cases Monday, according to a two-page court order. Oral arguments—for which they’ll be consolidated—will be scheduled at a later date.
The decision will determine the rights of public universities to regulate the production of certain programs when organizers wish to host them on school property.
