FTC, Justice Department Veterans Join Wilson Sonsini as Partners

Maureen Ohlhausen and Taylor Owings have joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as partners in the antitrust and competition practice, the firm said Friday.

Ohlhausen is based in the Washington, D.C., office, said Wilson Sonsini. She previously held the role of commissioner at the Federal Trade Commission and also served as acting chairman of the agency.

Owings, based in the Washington, D.C., office, will later transition to the firm’s New York office. She served as counsel and chief of staff in the antitrust division of the Department of Justice, the firm said.
