Frost Brown Todd Adds Thomas as Energy Partner in Houston

John Thomas joined Frost Brown Todd as a partner in its private equity and venture capital practice in Houston, the firm announced Wednesday.

Thomas’ practice focuses on corporate, transactional, and oil and gas matters, including financings, M&A, oil and gas operations, complex contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, and transactional insurance procurement. He has served as general counsel for multiple energy companies, where he managed all legal affairs including those related to M&A, joint ventures, public company reporting, compliance, litigation oversight, ESG initiatives, risk management, and corporate secretarial matters, the firm said.

He joins from Grable Martin.
