Alexander Ginsberg has joined Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP as a partner in the litigation department and government contracts practice in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

He joins from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, where he was a partner in the government contracts and disputes practice and chair of the bid protest team.

Ginsberg, who serves as a vice-chair of the American Bar Association’s Bid Protest and Small Business Committees, focuses on government contracts litigation, compliance, investigations, and transactions, according to Fried Frank.

“Alex’s wealth of knowledge in government contracts counseling, litigation and bid protests, and in particular his significant experience advising clients in complex global matters and high-profile deals, will enhance the service we can provide to our clients,” David Greenwald, chairman of Fried Frank, said in a statement.
