Fried Frank Grows Its IP Litigation Group

Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson said on Thursday that it hired two new partners, continuing what it called the “strategic growth” of its intellectual property litigation practice.

Both come to the firm in lateral moves from Shearman & Sterling.

Scott Doyle, former chair of Shearman & Sterling’s intellectual property litigation practice and co-managing partner of its Washington, D.C. office, becomes head of Fried Frank’s intellectual property litigation group. Jonathan DeFosse, a former Shearman & Sterling partner, is a new partner in the group.
