Freshfields hit its highest ever revenue at £2.1 billion ($2.63 billion) as global markets grappled with inflation and tight credit.
Revenue for the financial year ended April 30 2024 jumped more than 18%, up from £1.79 billion ($2.22 billion) in 2023, according to the company’s government filing.
Its total partner profits dipped more than 8% down to £664.9 million from £725.7 million. This is partially attributed to a change in its accounting standards to measure partner annuities, with a new method to calibrate risk adjustment, according to the filing.
