Ellen Rosenblum joined Freshfields as senior counsel to lead its state attorneys general practice, the firm announced Thursday.
Rosenblum, now based in DC, was the first woman elected state attorney general in Oregon and led hundreds of state and national policy initiatives, investigations and lawsuits over her 12-plus years in office, according to the firm. Her work focused on consumer protection, fraud, privacy, financial regulation, antitrust, civil rights and environmental protection, the firm said.
