Phillip Stoup joined Freshfields as a capital markets partner in Silicon Valley, the firm announced Monday.
Stoup’s practice focuses on advising companies and underwriters on capital markets transactions, including IPOs and other equity offerings, convertible and other debt offerings, and strategic investments, the firm said.
He also advises companies on securities law compliance, general corporate, and governance matters.
