Freshfields Adds Sanjay Murti as M&A Partner in New York Office

Sanjay Murti has joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a partner with the corporate department in New York, the firm said Monday.

Murti focuses on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism defense, corporate governance, and general corporate matters, according to Freshfields.

He has worked on sales and acquisitions of publicly traded companies, acquisitions and sales of private companies, carve-out divestitures and spin-offs, and joint ventures, Freshfields said.
