Austin Evers joined Freshfields as a partner in its strategic risk and crisis management practice and co-chair of its congressional investigations team, the firm announced Tuesday.
Evers advises clients facing congressional investigations, government investigations, and crisis management challenges, the firm said.
He was most recently associate deputy attorney general within the Justice Department.
