James Smedley joined Fox Rothschild as a partner in its intellectual property department in Princeton, N.J., the firm announced Thursday.
Smedley helps clients to protect and enforce intellectual property rights, particularly in software, information technology, and tech-enabled hardware. He acts as outside general counsel to emerging growth companies from formation to exit, the firm said.
He joins from McCarter & English.
