Four Big Law Firms Guide $7.3 Billion Sunoco-NuStar Energy Deal

U.S. fuel distributor Sunoco LP plans to acquire pipeline and fuel storage company NuStar Energy LP in an all-equity deal valued at around $7.3 billion.

The deal, announced Monday, is among the largest energy acquisitions to kick off the new year, along with Chesapeake Energy‘s deal to buy rival Southwestern Energy in a transaction valued at $7.4 billion. The energy sector surpassed other industries by deal volume in 2023.
