Former USPTO Lead Administrative Patent Judge Joins Bracewell

Christopher L. Crumbley has joined Bracewell on the intellectual property litigation team as a partner in the Austin, Texas office, the firm said Monday.

Crumbley was most recently a lead administrative judge at the United States Patent & Trademark Office’s Patent Trial & Appeal Board, according to Bracewell. He maintains over 20 years of patent law experience.

Before serving at PTAB, Crumbley worked for nearly a decade as a trial attorney with the intellectual property section of the Justice Department’s Civil Division, said the firm.
