Kirkland & Ellis LLP has picked up two former senior Securities and Exchange Commission lawyers, the law firm said May 30.
Erica Williams, a former deputy chief of staff who went on to counsel President Barack Obama, and Marian Fowler, a former senior special counsel, joined Kirkland’s Washington office as partners. Williams and Fowler follow former SEC Enforcement Director Robert Khuzami and former Investment Management Director Norm Champ, among other commission alumni.
