Former MoFo Staffer Gets Prison Time for Defrauding Law Firm (1)

Former Morrison & Foerster staffer Andrew Robertson was sentenced to 41 months in prison Monday after pleading guilty to embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from the law firm, according to prosecutors.

Robertson, who worked as a firm office manager in Washington, D.C., used his firm credit card to ring up $425,000 in personal purchases of clothes, electronics, and other items. He bought a white gold pinky ring encrusted with diamonds, an electric toothbrush, and dog treats, among scores of other Amazon and Crate & Barrel purchases detailed in an affidavit provided by prosecutors.
