Former LexShares CEO Sues Company for Race Discrimination (1)

The former chief executive officer of litigation funder LexShares is suing the company and its directors for racidiscrimination.

Cayse Llorens served as CEO of the tech-focused litigation funder from 2020 to 2022. LLorens, a Black man, says that he was treated disparately by the board, and was eventually terminated, because of his race.

The board criticized and blocked his strategies and did not read materials he sent to them, according to the complaint. He says that all but a few employees were white and he hired two non-white women who were also treated disparately by upper management and the board. ...
