Louis Pellegrino, former lead counsel in the Ponzi scheme case against Bernard Madoff, has joined Dentons after 13 years with the Southern District of New York.
Pellegrino is a partner in commercial litigation at the firm. “The opportunity to have him join the practice at Dentons was one we couldn’t miss,” Doug Henkin, a leader of the financial services sector at the firm, said in a statement.
Pellegrino was responsible for handling all aspects of the Justice Department’s involvement in its case against Madoff, the financier who masterminded the largest Ponzi scheme in history worth nearly $65 billion. He was ...
