Marcia Fudge, former secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development under President Biden, has joined Taft as partner and firmwide chair of public policy, the law firm said Monday.
She will dedicate a portion of her time to the firm’s efforts to combat the harmful effects of forever chemicals, according to the announcement.
Fudge has deep roots in Ohio, the firm said. She began her career in public service in the Cuyahoga County, Ohio, prosecutor’s office. She served as mayor of Warrensville Heights in Ohio and as the US representative for Ohio’s 11th congressional district.
