Mary Lavelle has joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a partner in its private capital team and global transactions practice in London, the firm said Wednesday.
Lavelle will be appointed to global co-head of the private funds and secondaries group, according to Freshfields.
She advises investment managers and financial institutions on investment fund formation and asset management matters, said the firm.
Lavelle joins from Akin Gump.
