Foley Recruits Gurpreet Bal, Shaalu Mehra as Corporate Partners

Gurpreet Bal and Shaalu Mehra joined Foley & Lardner as partners in its innovative technology sector and transactions practice group in Silicon Valley, the firm announced Thursday.

Bal represents public and private technology companies, investment funds, and founders in capital-raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic transactions across the artificial intelligence, semiconductors, fintech, health-care, and consumer technology industries. His work spans the full company lifecycle, from formation and financing to liquidity and exit, the firm said.
