Foley Picks Up Cooley’s Matt Caplan as San Francisco Partner

Foley & Lardner hired Matt Caplan as a partner in its commercial litigation practice group in San Francisco, the firm announced Monday.

Caplan, who joins from Cooley LLP, focuses on trade secrets, class actions, health care, and general commercial litigation, according to his new firm. He regularly represents technology and health care companies, including emerging innovators, in disputes from trial through appeal, the firm said.
