Brian Wheeler has joined Foley & Lardner as a partner with the firm’s transactions practice in the firm’s Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices, the firm said Monday.
Wheeler, who also joins the firm’s innovative technology and health care & life sciences sectors, is the former general counsel at SoftBank Investment Advisers, the investment adviser to the SoftBank Vision Fund, where he built a legal team overseeing fundraising and investing for investment funds with more than $130 billion in invested capital, according to Foley.
