Foley Hoag Nabs Paul Weiss DEI Staffer as Firms Navigate Fallout

Foley Hoag poached Jessica Maroney Shillito from Paul Weiss as the new director of diversity, equity and inclusion, the firm announced Wednesday.

Shillito will lead a four-person team and co-chair Foley’s diversity committee. She spent about a year at Paul Weiss working under chief inclusion officer Danyale Price, who remains at that firm after nearly 20 years.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the team and contribute to a culture of inclusion, supported by engaged leadership and a shared commitment to progress,” Shillito said in a statement.
