Jeongseok Jay Yu has joined Foley Hoag as a partner, the firm said Tuesday.
Yu will focus on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, minority investments, divestitures, joint ventures, and restructurings, according to Foley Hoag.
He has worked with private equity and venture funds, their portfolio companies, and strategic buyers and sellers in public and private acquisitions, Foley Hoag said. He also has dealt with complex corporate transactions for companies and venture and growth equity funds involved in the biotechnology, software, consumer, energy and healthcare industries.
