Five Firms Help PE-Backed Acuity Buy Financial Analytics Rival

Five law firms advised as Acuity Knowledge Partners, a provider of research, analytics and business intelligence to the financial services sector, acquired rival firm Cians Analytics.

Latham & Watkins, BakerHostetler, and Mumbai, India-based firm AZB Partners advised London-based Acuity, which was acquired by private equity firm Equistone Partners Europe in 2019. Mayer Brown and New Delhi-headquartered Phoenix Legal advised New York-based Cians, according to a statement.
