Farmer Mac Names Geraldine Hayhurst New Chief Legal Officer

The Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (Farmer Mac) has named Geraldine Hayhurst as its new executive vice president and chief legal officer and secretary, starting on Sept. 8, the company announced Monday.

Hayhurst joins Farmer Mac with more than two decades of legal experience, most recently as associate general counsel at CoStar Group, Inc. She has also held leadership roles at Freddie Mac, spent time at the Securities and Exchange Commission, and at law firms A&O Shearman and Clifford Chance, according to the organization.
