Faegre Drinker Adds Government, Regulatory Counsel Diego Ortega

Diego Ortega joined Faegre Drinker as a government and regulatory counsel in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

Ortega advises US and non-US multinational companies on economic sanctions, export controls, including the Export Administration Regulations, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, customs laws, and reviews by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

He joins from the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, where he was a sanctions regulations adviser.
